Rules
Participation in BLESS research is REMUNERATED in terms of expense reimbursement. The amount depends on the duration of the experiment, your decisions and those of the other participants in the activity. During the activity, each participant must follow the rules defined by the researchers in the instructions.

For each activity, a slightly higher number of people than those who can actually participate are typically invited. However, a FIXED EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT is provided for those who have been invited, have registered and arrived on time, but were unable to participate in the activity due to laboratory capacity constraints or other technical reasons.

To ensure that only invited guests can participate, we ask that you bring a PHOTO IDENTITY DOCUMENT and your TAX CODE CARD with you to the workshop. Without an identity document, you will not be able to participate or receive the attendance token.

Participation is subject to the following RULES:

1) An invitation email will be sent to people who have previously registered for each activity. ONLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE RECEIVED THE INVITATION EMAIL are eligible to take part in the research.

2) If you get an e-mail invitation:

2.1) IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE in a specific activity, you must REGISTER. By registering, you COMMIT to participating.

You can cancel your registration directly on this website up to 24 hours before the session. If for any reason you are unable to attend the session, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing bless.dse@unibo.it.

*****NOTICE*****

People who have registered but do not show up or arrive late may cause the entire session to be cancelled due to lack of participants.

For this reason, anyone who registers and does not show up at the specified time will receive a note of unjustified absence. Having these notes on your record may reduce the likelihood of being invited to future research projects. You can write to bless.dse@unibo.it indicating which unforeseeable events made it impossible for you to inform us of your absence in time. AFTER THREE UNJUSTIFIED ABSENCES, you will no longer be invited to participate in other research projects.

*************************

2.2) IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE, simply ignore the invitation. This will not affect future invitations or participation in future activities.

BY REGISTERING, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:

I have been informed that if I do not show up or arrive late for a session for which I have registered, I may cause the session to be cancelled, with consequences for all the other people who did show up. I am aware that every time I fail to attend a study for which I have registered (without giving timely notice or providing valid justification), a note will be made on my personal reputation file. Once I have accumulated three notes, I will lose the right to be invited to participate in further studies.
